If you followed our Week 6 selections – and actually listened to us – you’d have dropped Eli Manning. Although the Giants went into Denver and beat the Broncos, his Fantasy stat line was woeful. He put up 9.12 points – ouch!
A couple of our other tips were:
Sammy Watkins = 1.10 Fantasy points (11 total yards)
Jared Goff = 9.86 Fantasy points (124 passing yards, 9 rushing yards & 1 TD)
There are only a couple of teams on Bye Weeks this week. These include:
- Detroit Lions
- Houston Texans
Week 7: Which Player Has To Be Dropped In NFL Fantasy This Week?Each week members of Into The End Zone make their one pick for a player that needs to be dropped from your starting roster in NFL Fantasy Football.
This could be because we hate the match up, they've decided they don't fancy getting points this season so far or because we genuinely want that player to fail this week for our own benefit.
|IntoTheEndZone Team||Player Name||Position||Team||Opponent||Reason To Drop Them|
|Thomas||Jared Goff||Quarterback||Los Angeles Rams||vs. Arizona Cardinals [Played at Twickenham, UK]||This is the second week in a row we have had Goff in our DROP column but teams find it difficult to get things going on Offense over here. The Rams lost at Wembley last year to the Giants with big Defensive plays taking the spotlight - I expect that to happen again this week.|
|Neil||Alshon Jeffery||Wide Receiver||Philadelphia Eagles||vs. Washington Redskins||Although the Eagles are balling right now. I expect the talented secondary to shut down these wide receivers and force short throws or the running game.|
|Matt ("Stats")||Jordy Nelson||Wide Receiver||Green Bay Packers||vs. New Orleans Saints||What else to start with here other than Aaron Rodgers is out! For every Green Bay player (let alone the fans) this is devastating. I don’t see any of their receivers high scoring this week with Hundley in at QB.
The Saints defense put up a lot of points last week and were the reason they won the game - I bet they are relishing this match up without Rodgers calling the shots.
Nelson and Rodgers rapport was especially strong so I think his numbers will suffer the most this week.
|Carter||Trevor Siemian||Quarterback||Denver Broncos||@ Los Angeles Chargers||I see this being a cagey affair as the Chargers are only allowing less than 200 yards through the air so far this season, not to mention a two headed monster in Bosa and Ingram getting through a mediocre offensive line and putting plenty of pressure as they always do on the Quarterbacks.|
|Ricky||T.Y Hilton||Wide Receiver||Indianapolis Colts||vs. Jacksonville Jaguars||Still no sign of Andrew Luck yet and with the Jaguars showing they want to be known as the best D in the league, I think they will try everything in their power to shut T.Y. out of this match up.|
What do you make of these selections?
