There are another 6 teams on their Bye week in WEEK 9, which makes the pool of players to choose from even thinner.
If you followed our WEEK 8 DROP picks though, you’re probably sitting pretty with another W under your belt!
Those players we told you to drop last week included:
Kareem Hunt = 6.80 Fantasy points (68 total yards)
Golden Tate = 6.60 Fantasy points (86 total yards & 1 fumble)
Michael Thomas = 7.70 Fantasy points (77 total yards)
This week though, we have quite a few teams on Bye Weeks which we have to contend with:
- Chicago Bears
- Cleveland Browns
- Los Angeles Chargers
- Minnesota Vikings
- New England Patriots
- Pittsburgh Steelers
Week 9: Which Player Has To Be Dropped In NFL Fantasy This Week? Each week members of Into The End Zone make their one pick for a player that needs to be dropped from your starting roster in NFL Fantasy Football.
This could be because we hate the match up, they've decided they don't fancy getting points this season so far or because we genuinely want that player to fail this week for our own benefit.
|IntoTheEndZone Team||Player Name||Position||Team||Opponent||Reason To Drop Them|
|Thomas||Jarvis Landry||Wide Receiver||Miami Dolphins||vs. Oakland Raiders||The Dolphins franchise is a mess at the moment. Get's brushed aside 40-0 by the Ravens. Traded one of it's best players in Ajayi and were close to trading Landry away because Gase thinks he's not making plays he should be. He could be a Boom or Bust and I think the latter this week,|
|Neil||Doug Baldwin||Wide Receiver||Seattle Seahawks||vs. Washington Redskins||Josh Norman will be keeping a close eye on Baldwin in this game to attempt to limit this booming pass attack that has suddenly sky rocketed Seattle. Josh Norman is still a class corner.|
|Matt ("Stats")||LeGarrette Blount||Running Back||Philadelphia Eagles||vs. Denver Broncos||The Broncos have the number 2 rushing D, on average, only giving up 70 yards per game.
The Eagles must not see enough in Blount with their recent addition of Jay Ajayi from the Dolphins.
The Denver Secondary isn't as ferocious as last year and I can see the Eagles trying to take full advantage of this with Jeffery and Ertz upfront.
|Carter||A.J. Green||Wide Receiver||Cincinnati Bengals||@ Jacksonville Jaguars||Considering Green is an elite receiver this may be a crazy sit, but green has two modest scores in his last two and now comes up against the Jaguars D which is ranked the best passing defense in the league to date.
|Ricky||Julio Jones||Wide Receiver||Atlanta Falcons||@ Carolina Panthers||Now I know this is a big call and to be honest, I'm not really sure why I don't like this match up, but this one just calls out to me.
The Panthers have been up and down in their performances over the season but have put in good performances against those "better" teams. I just have a hunch that Julio with put up poor numbers, like he has for a large chunk of the season.
What do you make of these selections?
