WEEK 9: Which Players Should You START This Week In NFL Fantasy Football?

Wow. A lot has changed in a week.

The International Series has finished in the UK for another year. The Dolphins lost 40-0 to the Baltimore Ravens in Thursday Night Football. And, there have been a whole host of trades going on (including the Dolphins!) before the deadline happened on Tuesday.

The latter is the one that is most likely going to affect the START/DROP features though. Before we get into that though, let’s breakdown some of the players we told you to START in Week 8:

Jerick McKinnon = 18.20 Fantasy points (included 122 yards & 1 TD)

LeGarrette Blount = 9.20 Fantasy points (included 52 yards & 1 TD)

There are quite a few teams on Bye Weeks this week. These include:

  • Chicago Bears
  • Cleveland Browns
  • Los Angeles Chargers
  • Minnesota Vikings
  • New England Patriots
  • Pittsburgh Steelers
  • Week 9: Which Player Has To Start In NFL Fantasy This Week?

Each week members of Into The End Zone makes their one pick for a player must start in your NFL Fantasy Football team.

This could be because we like the match up, they're already scoring points for fun or because we genuinely just fancy it!

Thomas Deshaun WatsonQuarterbackHouston Texansvs. Indianapolis ColtsWatson is rolling! The rookie has thrown for 19 TDs in the first 7 games of the season and even proved he's got what it takes against a tough Seahawks D. He did turn the ball over 3 times but I don't think the Colts D will have the same big plays. I'm starting him in all of my Fantasy rosters!
Neil Michael ThomasWide ReceiverNew Orleans Saints@ Tampa Bay Buccaneers Led the team in catches last week and now faces a secondary in all sorts of trouble. Tampa have conceded 85 points in the last 3 games.
Matt ("Stats")Adrian PetersonRunning BackArizona Cardinals@ San Francisco 49ers After the loss of Palmer against the Rams, Peterson will be expecting a big increase in carries with Stanton in at QB.
The Cardinals will be looking to "All day" to capture some of his Week 6 form against the Buccs to kick-start the offense.
The 49ers give up on average 131 yards per game, Peterson is still a good enough back to take advantage of this.
CarterAlfred MorrisRunning BackDallas Cowboysvs. Kansas City ChiefsWith Elliott out due to suspension Morris and McFadden look to split the main workload at Running
Back for the Cowboys, I'll take Morris as a starter over McFadden as the latter has been inactive for the first 7 games of the season. This game against the 29th ranked rushing defense in the Chiefs looks a good starting point for Morris to prove his worth.
