WEEK 10: Which Players Should You START This Week In NFL Fantasy Football?

There are more and more injuries being added to the ongoing headache of Fantasy Football. The most notable injury of Week 9 was Deshaun Watson (who I actually tipped to be a starter – sorry about that!) who went down in training with an ACL injury and took the air out of Houston.

Let’s just put a line through our Week 9 START selections and start again because one was injured (Deshaun Watson), one didn’t get much game time because Ezekiel Elliot somehow managed to delay his 6-game suspension even further (Alfred Morris) and Michael Thomas just didn’t get many points at all.

So, let’s start a fresh …

There are four teams on Bye Weeks this week and that will be sad news to those people who have been riding the Carson Wentz bandwagon in recent weeks, as the Philadelphia Eagles are one of those teams. The teams on their Bye include:

  • Baltimore Ravens
  • Kansas City Chiefs
  • Oakland Raiders
  • Philadelphia Eagles

  • Week 10: Which Player Has To Start In NFL Fantasy This Week?

Each week members of Into The End Zone makes their one pick for a player must start in your NFL Fantasy Football team.

This could be because we like the match up, they're already scoring points for fun or because we genuinely just fancy it!

Thomas Jordan HowardRunning BackChicago Bearsvs. Green Bay PackersThis will be a battle of the running backs and I see the Bears coming out on top. Fresh off a Bye, the Chicago Bears will lean heavily on Howard and Cohen, like they regularly do. Will Rodgers out, the Packers just aren't anywhere near the same team and I expect the Bears to use a lot of the clock.
Neil JuJu Smith SchusterWide Receiver Pittsburgh Steelers@ Indianapolis ColtsJuJu has been a breakout in this offense quickly becoming the number 2 receiver behind Antonio Brown. Looking for him to take advantage of his 1v1 match ups against a weak Colts team.
Matt ("Stats")Carolina D/STD/STCarolina Panthersvs. Miami DolphinsThe number 2 rushing D meets the number 30 rushing O, minus the talents of Ajayi = simple maths.
The Dolphins have only put up over 200 passing yards 3 times all year.
Carolina's defense allows the fifth fewest points per drive.
CarterOrleans DarkwaRunning BackNew York Giants@ San Francisco 49ersDarkwa has had some respectful fantasy scores of late, including 13 points against a top 5 run defense in Denver, no better way to continue his form than against the 49ers whom are the worst rush defense in the league and have given up 9 rushing touchdowns this season so far.
RickyA.J. Green Wide ReceiverCincinnati Bengals @ Tennessee Titans In his last 3 games, Green has put up just 11.40 Fantasy points. He was ejected from the game early on last week and this might just have made him put his mind back on performing this week. I'm expecting him to have one of his BIG games.
