WEEK 12: Super 6 Selections

It’s safe to say it’s not been the best of starts to my first year writing up these tips and putting my neck on the line, but there are plenty of weeks left to improve my win percentage this season and get back ahead profit wise.

I back all of these tips as singles and trebles etc, I’m showing a little bit down on the year due to some sheer bad luck and some other costly mistakes by certain teams.

Kicking myself week in week out debating between certain things and going with others. “A gambler should never change his mind” so the saying goes, but we all do it.

But onto week 12 now and I’m going all out myself and you’re welcome to join me if you agree with my selections, I’m picking six selections and will personally be backing them as singles, two separate trebles and one Acca, feel free to mix together whatever you fancy. Good luck!

Overs Treble:

Titans @ Colts

Over 45.5 William Hill 10/11
Over 45.5 Bet365 10/11

Panthers @ Jets

Over 40 William Hill 10/11
Over 40 Bet365 10/11

Saints @ Rams

Over 54 William Hill 10/11
Over 54 Bet365 10/11

Titans @ Colts
In their last 10 meetings these sides have produced an average of nearly 52 points a game, a divisional matchup between two quite poor defenses and I expect to see points between these two considering there was 58 when they last met earlier this season, with no Luck for the season (A bit like myself) the Colts and Brissett haven’t looked as bad as i’d have expected and the Titans offense is more than capable of putting up a decent amount of points.

Panthers @ Jets
Both of these two teams are coming in fresh of a bye week, the Panthers are averaging 27 points a game in their last 3 and the Jets around 20 a game this season, I’m hoping to take advantage of a low total set here and there’s not much game history between the two considering they’ve only faced each other six times with it tied at 3-3, if Carolina can repeat the 45 points put up against the Dolphins before the bye we wouldn’t need a thing from the Jets, making this selection all the more appealing.

Saints @ Rams
So hopefully this game goes with the points history for this matchup, the last 10 meetings has produced an average of 54.4 points, both these teams join the Eagles in being the only 3 sides averaging over 30 points a game this season, 30.3 (Rams) 30.2 (Saints), like I’ve said many times before this season this has the looks of an offensive shootout! But I reckon more so than any other game considering the way these two have been playing this season.

Spread Treble:

Patriots

-16 Bet365 10/11
-16.5 William Hill 20/21

Eagles

-14 Bet365 20/21
-14 William Hill 10/11

Falcons

-10 William Hill Evens
-10 Bet365 20/21

*All odds and spreads subject to change

Dolphins @ Patriots
It may seem a big spread but the Patriots have won six straight and the Dolphins are on a four game losing streak, in New England’s last four wins versus Miami there is a point differential of +85, you do the math of what that works out over 4 games, this has the looks of a blowout game (sorry Dolphin fans) and Miami are down to 3rd string QB Matt Moore.

Bears @ Eagles
Another red hot team! In fact the best record in the NFL winning 9 straight and sitting at a healthy 9-1, the Bears have been pretty poor on the road this season winning one game (in overtime) so I don’t expect a two touchdown victory will be to difficult for the Eagles and MVP candidate Carson Wentz to achieve.

Buccaneers @ Falcons
I’d say this looks a formality on paper, the Falcons have looked somewhat back to their best on Offense and Defense of late, winning their last two.
Up against an average defense and with backup Fitzpatrick at the helm I think they will struggle to keep up with the Falcons in this one.
