It’s now the business end of the season. Not just for the NFL teams trying to fight their way to a Playoff spot but for you and your fantasy team who are also trying to make it to the Playoffs.
This is where those NFL Fantasy roster selections really make all the difference between getting mocked by friends or being the one who has bragging rights. Let’s hope we can help with the latter!
Before we move onto this week though, Week 12 returned some order to the Fantasy world. Julio Jones was back with a huge game. Alvin Kamara had yet another massive game for the Saints. And, the Patriots had yet another easy win.
But most importantly, there were some great Fantasy performances in Week 12 and here are some of the picks we made:
Russell Wilson = 21.62 Fantasy Points (253 Total Yards, 1 INT & 3 TDs – 1 was a Rush TD)
Kirk Cousins = 16.08 Fantasy Points (246 Total Yards, 1 INT & 2 TD – Almost 3 like I expected, but not quite!)
Week 13: Which Player Has To Start In NFL Fantasy This Week? Each week members of Into The End Zone makes their one pick for a player must start in your NFL Fantasy Football team.
This could be because we like the match up, they're already scoring points for fun or because we genuinely just fancy it!
IntoTheEndZone Team Player Name Position Team Opponent Reason To Start Them Thomas Mike Evans Wide Receiver Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Green Bay Packers The Packers give up the 3rd most points to Wide Receivers and Mike Evans is a top WR. Antonio Brown torched the Packers in Week 12 and I expect similar numbers from Evans, who hasn't really had a breakout game this season. Neil Keenan Allen Wide Receiver Los Angeles Chargers vs. Cleveland Browns Maybe a bit obvious but Allen had a patch of 5 games where he scored less than 7 points. Recently though he has been on form and with Rivers potentially playing the best football of his career, I expect them to demolish Cleveland. Matt ("Stats") Jimmy Garoppolo Quarterback San Francisco 49ers @ Chicago Bears We know this guy can throw from his time with the Patriots. This San Francisco team is dire but it has one of its best chances of adding another W this week against an unpredictable Bears team. If he's available on your Waiver Wire, he's worth streaming. Carter Philip Rivers Quarterback Los Angeles Chargers vs. Cleveland Browns Rivers was on fire in his last game against the Cowboys posting 28.86 points, I feel another similar score coming again this week with a full arsenal of offensive weapons at his disposal against an average secondary who might see the field for more time than their offense.
