So 7 teams can clinch playoff berths and/or division titles this Sunday if they win or other results go their way, which basically means the regular season is heating up in its last 4 weeks.
Like most seasons for some other teams it will come down to week 17 before their playoff fate is sealed, that being said it should be a pretty exciting finish to the regular season!
Hopefully I can improve on the 24/40 correct single selections and the 13/2 treble which I landed 2 weeks ago. Below are 4 selections that together should pay around 10/1! Once again I will be backing these as singles too. All odds and point totals are subject to change so keep an eye on the market over the weekend!
CINCINATTI BENGALS – OVER 22.5 TEAM POINTS – 8/11 (BET 365)
Although being a longshot, the Bengals are still I the playoff hunt needing to win out to finish 9-7 and then probably needing a ton of other results to go their way. This is a good staring point with a home game against a Bears team that just lost at home to the 49ers. Like I mentioned a few weeks ago, the Bears have been a poor road team this season losing 4/5 and conceding 20 or more points in all of those contests.
DALLAS COWBOYS – OVER 23.5 TEAM POINTS – 5/6 (BET 365)
You may think I’m crazy trusting this Cowboys team with no Elliott, but the fact is they are well in the hunt for a playoff spot after hammering the Redskins last week! Amazingly after a three game losing streak they are 6-6 and if they continue this resurgence and win the next two, they will have Elliott back for the final two regular season games. Their next opponents the Giants, rank last in defence, quite a contrast to last season. Not including the Chiefs game at Metlife, the Giants had conceded and average of 31.5 points per game in their last 4 home games.
GREENBAY PACKERS – SPREAD -3 – 5/6 (BET365)
So since Rodgers left the Vikings game injured, Brett Hundley has gone 2-4. He has lost games against 4 decent teams, all of which are in the playoff hunt and then beaten 2 abysmal teams in the Bears and the Bucs. Next up are the worst team in the NFL, The Browns. Its simple really, the Packers should beat the Browns with a 3rd string QB in my opinion. Hundley has been playing well in his previous two games and any similar level of this play would see them win this. The Browns have lost all of their games by at least this spread.
LA RAMS – SPREAD -2 – 10/11 (BET365)
So a great matchup on paper between two 10-2 sides. I favour the Rams in this one simply because the Eagles 10 wins have come against teams all below .500 and I think they may have been found out last week in Seattle. -2 looks a good bet and the Rams have showed us more than once this season that they are capable of beating good teams.
