For most, it’s Superbowl week in your NFL Fantasy Football league! Congratulations if you made it.
Last week in Week 15, we featured entirely Wide Receivers in our DROP column and if you followed it, it probably paid dividends in your match up. Three of those picks we made had a bit of a stinker and put up low totals.
Those three WR’s were:
A.J. Green = 3.00 Fantasy points (30 totals yards)
Dez Bryant = 5.50 Fantasy points (55 total yards)
Stefon Diggs = 7.70 Fantasy Points (37 Total Yards & 1 TD)
Week 16: Which Player Has To Be Dropped In NFL Fantasy This Week?Each week members of Into The End Zone make their one pick for a player that needs to be dropped from your starting roster in NFL Fantasy Football.
This could be because we hate the match up, they've decided they don't fancy getting points this season so far or because we genuinely want that player to fail this week for our own benefit.
|IntoTheEndZone Team||Player Name||Position||Team||Opponent||Reason To Drop Them|
|Thomas||T.Y. Hilton||Wide Receiver||Indianapolis Colts||@ Baltimore Ravens||The Ravens give up the 3rd fewest points to Wide Receivers and T.Y. hasn't hit double digits since Week 10.|
|Neil||A.J. Green||Wide Receiver||Cincinnati Bengals||vs. Detroit Lions||Sitting Green for the second straight week. The Bengals are a team in free fall. The Lions have something to play for and Green will have Darius Slay shadowing him on Sunday.|
|Matt ("Stats")||T.Y. Hilton||Wide Receiver||Indianapolis Colts||@ Baltimore Ravens||It has been a tough year for the colts without Luck. Even star wideout T.Y's numbers have suffered with him only hitting double digits three times this season.
The Ravens D is formidable to the say the least, racking up 198 fantasy points this season (only 9 behind 'Sacksonville').
The Colts have the third worse passing offense this season with 185 passing yards on average per game.
|Carter||Marquise Goodwin||Wide Receiver||San Francisco 49ers||vs. Jacksonville Jaguars||Goodwin has had 3 straight respectful fantasy scores with thanks to Jimmy G in San Fran, I don't expect him to do so great against the no.1 pass defense in the league here though.|
What do you make of these selections?
