WEEK 16: A Festive Treble

So unlucky last week, just so so unlucky….. Safe to say I was gutted, although getting 3 correct has moved me onto 29/48 on singles this year, just the way that Cardinals game panned out with them needing a TD to win at the death is frustrating, we needed 18 points! They got 5 field goals!Typical, just one trip into the endzone (pardon the pun) and we would have banged in all 4 selections.

On to this week, going with 3 selections here as the treble pays a nice 8/1 currently.

Chicago Bears -6.5 on the Spread 10/11 Bet365

Ok so you look at the Bears 4-10 record and it may not fill you with confidence needing them to win by at least 7 here, but come on it’s the Browns who are more than likely going to go 0-16 this year, just like the 2008 Detroit Lions, remarkably 3 of the 4 Bears wins have come against AFC North opponents and I think it’s a sure thing they’ll do the clean sweep.

Jacksonville Jaguars -4 on the Spread 10/11 Bet365

There was a time that betting on the Jags to cover the Spread was a brave thing to do, totally different story this year, it’s definitely no fluke as they continue to impress after each week, they’ve won 7 of the last 8 games! Yes the 49ers have reeled off 3 straight under Jimmy G, but that was against 3 weaker teams, this Jags Defence is the real deal and with a playoff spot secured last week, they’ll look to secure the division title this Sunday.

Rams Team Total Touchdowns Over 3.5 6/4 Bet365

This looks a decent bet to me, the Rams have scored 5 touchdowns in each of their last 2, Zuerlein will be a huge miss for them come the rest of the season, and as aggressive as they are already under Mcvay, I can see them continuing this by needing to get closer to the redzone, without Zuerlein’s huge leg this should open up more opportunities for TD’s.
