International Series – Which NFL Teams Are Coming To London In 2018 & What Do You Need To Know?

So, we know the teams that are coming to London to play this season (these are shown below for those that don’t know) and it’s an exciting time to be an NFL fan in the UK. The International Series has been a growing success over recent years and we want more!

In 2017, the quality of teams here in the UK was very high and the players we got to see grace the field were of the highest quality.

The NFL has kept true to their word and next season we get the opportunity to watch some serious talent again including the ever-improving Jacksonville Jaguars and the current Superbowl champs, the Philadelphia Eagles.

Wembley - International Series

We get to see 3 new road teams (Seattle Seahawks, Philadelphia Eagles and Tennessee Titans) here for the first time. We will also get to see London regular’s Jacksonville Jaguars, who have exceeded many expectations in 2017 by making the Playoffs.

We’ve missed out on the chance to see Tottenham Hotspur’s new stadium this season, which is built for big events (especially the NFL), so although this should really be some spectacle for sport, we will have to wait another year to see it. With two pitches it built for both Premier League football and the NFL, so it will be some atmosphere when it’s ready for sporting events.

Other information for UK NFL fans that you might find useful on the day of your trip to London are as follows:

  • NFL UK FAN MEET UPS: The pre-match UK fan meet-up on 20 October has sold out, but there are still tickets available for the games on 13 October and 27 October. Taking place in a private room at All Star Lanes in Brick Lane (organised by @NFLGirlUK – find her on Twitter), it’s a chance for UK-based fans of all 32 NFL teams to get together and share their love of the game, along with bowling, karaoke, food and drink. It’s £5.98 for a ticket but we advise that you book ahead.
  • SEAHAWKS FANS: Followers and fans of the Seattle Seahawks are invited here to celebrate the first time the team has played on UK soil. Ticket includes a welcome drink, finger food and a commemorative wristband. Revolution (City of London),  £27.54, book ahead, 13 October
