WEEK 3: Three Teams, Three Over Points – NFL Treble

So we’re two weeks into the NFL season and I’m 1/6 on singles and obviously no trebles so far. The shocking start continues!

So, this week I’ve stuck with three teams points markets considering the Chargers one cruised in last week and a few side bets of mine that I didn’t feel that confident with did okay too (I’ll share those too next time – @Carter_ITEZ).

Here we go …

Broncos Team Points Over 18.5 (@ Baltimore Ravens)
5/6 (Bet365)

The Broncos scored over 20 points in their two opening games, and it’s safe to say they can be considered a slight surprise package. Since Manning retired I think they’ve only really struggled at QB, but with the addition of Case Keenum they’ve significantly improved their team this year. He had a great year with Vikings last season and they also have two great Wideouts in Thomas and Sanders as well as two impressive rookie running backs, Freeman and Lindsay. Let’s not forget to mention their consistently impressive D.

So yeah, the Ravens did pretty much shutout the Bills in week 1 but seeing the Bills in week 1 and 2 all I can say is it’s the Bills! The Ravens shipped 34 points against Cincinnati in week 2’s Thursday night game and the Broncos wouldn’t need to do an awful lot to score 19+ this week.

Bengals Team Points Over 20.5 (@ Carolina Panthers)
5/6 (Bet365)

So to cover this we simply need three Bengals touchdowns. They’ve scored 34 points in each of their two opening games this season and this could be a high scoring affair for both teams, but the Bengals look a little more consistent so far.

The last meeting between the two in 2014 finished 34-34 and then a tie after overtime, I really fancy them to surpass this total.

Dolphins Team Points Over 23.5 (vs Oakland Raiders)
5/6 (Bet365)

Another surprise package for the season are the Miami Dolphins, starting 2-0, and they always looked half decent to me when they had Tannehill at the helm, and they’ve started this season great with him back from injury.

In their last 10 games between the Raiders and Miami, the Dolphins have won 8, scoring an average of over 27 points scored also. Hopefully they can continue their great start to the season by putting up plenty of points this week against the Raiders!
