It’s Week 4 now and I’m 3/9 on single selections, no treble yet but it will come sooner rather than later.
The Broncos letting us down for the treble last week is so frustrating considering they scored 14 points in the first quarter and failed to score the 5 points we needed in the remaining 3 quarters. What’s more frustrating is that they had four goes from the 1-yard line and couldn’t even punch it in!
So, I’ve picked myself up and ready to go again …
Bengals @ Falcons
Total Points Over 51.0
This is one of those games that just screams points to me. If how the season has gone so far for these two teams is anything to go by, the Bengals first three games all went over the total line and 2/3 of the Falcons games did too. Atlanta has lost some key pieces to their D and Cincy have conceded more than 20 points in all three of their games.
Another closed roof stadium shootout?
Dolphins @ Patriots
Patriots Team Points Over 28.5
Okay, so most of the Footballing world are glad the Patriots have lost their last two (Sorry Pats fans) but I fancy a bounce back here against a divisional rival whom New England seem to dominate, especially at home, winning their last nine!
They’ve put 30+ points past Miami in their last four encounters in Foxborough and New England is just one of those teams that seems to be able to pull it out the bag to the displeasure of Non-Patriot fans. Hopefully, we can profit on that if that’s the case.
Seahawks @ Cardinals
Seahawks Team Points Over 20.5
These divisional rivals have both had poor starts to the season, Seattle last week looked sort of back to their best with a victory over the Cowboys.
Wilson is the most sacked QB so far this year but last week still managed to put up good numbers with the running game.
The Cardinals will go with rookie Josh Rosen at QB this week, but with the way Earl Thomas and the Seahawks Defence played last week, this has the potential to be very interesting. Seattle has put up more than 20 points in 6 of its last 7 against Arizona and this line is very appealing to me.
