So… see last week’s opening sentence and now add in that fact it’s now been 2/3 on the trebles 4 weeks running!!! That’s 50% on single selections but no treble as of yet (Disappointing).
Again last week, two cruised in and we needed that last Panthers drive to result in a TD but it wasn’t to be – each week just seems to be getting closer and closer!
I’m off to Wembley this Sunday to see my beloved Chargers and hoping for that elusive treble, along with a Chargers victory on the day! (Perfect scenario for me)
Dallas Cowboys @ Washington Redskins
Total Points Over 41.5 – (10/11) – Bet365
I have to say I was very surprised at seeing the total points set this low here, I was expecting maybe 45/46 points, but 41.5!! Wow.
8 out of the last 10 meetings between these divisional rivals comfortably went over 42 points!
In fact the last 5 games all had 50+ points, the Cowboys just put 40 points past arguably the NFL’s best defense, this is a game for the “bragging rights” between these two set of fans and I have a feeling this will be an exciting matchup!
LA Rams @ San Francisco 49ers
Total Points Over 52 (10/11) Bet365
Okay, so the other end of the spectrum here, we have the Rams rolling to 6 straight wins with 0 defeats and the 49ers who have lost their last 4, but San Francisco is still putting up plenty of points even in defeat! And, barring last week against the Broncos, the Rams have put 30+ points past the rest of their opponents, that offense is just simply an animal!
If you remember back to last year’s Thursday night game (TNF), everyone thought it was going to be a boring affair, but let’s remind ourselves of that scoreline again – 41-39 Rams. Same again this Sunday, please!
New England Patriots @ Chicago Bears
Patriots Team Points Over 26.5 (5/6) Bet365
This game really was 50/50 on whom I took to break their team total mark (they both still could) but I’m gonna side with the Patriots here. They’ve posted 38/38/43 in their last 3 games, granted they were all at Foxborough, but I mean if Brock Osweiler can put 31 past the Bears and win, who am I to doubt Tom Brady and the Patriots getting the business done here.
