WEEK 8: NFL Breakdown & Score Predictions

Week 8 picks

What a great game to be able to go and watch live last Sunday!! The Titans decided to keep the outcome of the game in their hands with the 2 point conversion attempt and failed! Heartbreaking stuff and heart pounding stuff for our very own Matt Carter, our Itez member and Chargers fan who also joined us there.

10-3 last week on predictions, so 2 good weeks in a row.

What happened for the rest of week 7? Well….. the Patriots and Bears decided to have a shootout, fair play to Tribuski who went toe to toe with Tom Brady with the Goat coming out on top in the end. The Jags looked off colour and will look to rebound in London on Sunday. The Bills looked…. well as you would have expected…. poor. The Panthers overturned a 17 point deficit to stun the Eagles who play the Jags this Sunday in a very important must win game for both teams and the Browns…. ohhh the Browns, losing in overtime!!! Still…. better than last season, right?!  Some close games in the late games too, with the Falcons, Redskins & Saints all getting narrow wins in some tough matchups. The Chiefs keep rolling though, such a high powered offence in Kansas City that nobody really wants to face come Playoff time.

Below we move on to our week 8 predictions. Look out for them every weekend during the season to help you make your mind up on those dodgy looking matchups and for a few helpful stats to back it up. I tend to miss the Thursday night game as it’s a little too early to post the rest of the predictions for Sunday. So much can change in the footballing world in just a few days.

This week sees a bye week for the Falcons, Chargers, Titans and the Cowboys. It also sees our third and final London game of the series as the Jags take on the Super Bowl champs, the Eagles.
