We’re already well into the NFL offseason and whilst, for the most part, it can be a boring time for NFL fans, we do have the draft to look forward to.
The NFL Draft is a showcase for young players to reap the rewards of their talent in the hopes they hear their name called by an NFL team at some point over the three-day event.
When is the 2019 NFL Draft?
This year’s draft begins on Thursday, April 25 and runs through Saturday, April 27 (US). Although, for us UK fans, this means that coverage of Round 1 will start in the early hours of Friday 26.
Rounds 2-3 are on Friday at 7 p.m and Rounds 4-7 on Saturday at 2 p.m. ET (US) but in the UK these will be shown in the late evening/early morning of those days.
Here are the times based on last years (2018) coverage:
Day 1: 12:30 am – 5 am

Where is the 2019 NFL Draft?
In May 2018, the NFL made the announcement that the 2019 draft will be held in Nashville, Tennessee.
Nashville was selected over bids from Kansas City, Denver, Las Vegas and Cleveland/Canton.
What TV channel is the 2019 NFL Draft on?
All seven rounds of the draft will be broadcast across a variety of networks in the US but for us UK fans, you will be able to watch the first day unfold on Sky Sports (likely to be Sky Sports Action on Day 1).
It can be streamed online via the ESPN app, NFL mobile app, ESPN.com or NFL.com and NFL Game Pass, although many of these will require a subscription of some sort. Last year, the coverage was also shown on Now TV, starting at £7.99 for a week pass.

5 Players To Look Out For In The 2019 NFL Draft
The 2019 NFL Draft will be full up exciting prospects that will hopefully make your team better but we have highlighted 5 players that you should keep an eye out for.
Kyler Murray – Arguably the hottest Quarterback in the 2019 Draft Class, Murray has already drawn a lot of interest from a number of teams. The Arizona Cardinals pick at No.1 and many are tipping them to take Murray with the 1st pick, even though they picked a QB in the draft last year.
Nick Bosa – Nick, brother to Joey Boas of the Los Angeles Chargers, is expected to be a Top 5 pick in this years’ draft. Nick plays EDGE and is one of many ‘quarterback hunters’ in this years draft class looking to find a team where he can be a weekly starter from Day 1.
D.K. Metcalf – Metcalf is a Wide Receiver out of Mississippi and had a monster NFL Combine (an event where prospects show their strength, power and athleticism) and caught the eye of a number of teams too. Expect some explosive plays from him during his NFL career.
Greedy Williams – Other than having a great first name, Williams is expected to be one of the best Cornerbacks in this years draft. A string of teams need instant CB help and Greedy could be an instant hit.
Montez Sweat – Another EDGE to keep an eye out for in Round 1, Sweat had himself a great Combine with a record-setting 40-yard dash for defensive linemen. There was a bit of doubt over Sweat’s heart condition but this seems to have been forgotten about for the main.
